Jenny Doherty – JV Head Coach

Coach Doherty is the JV Head Coach for Plano Wildcat Softball. Her education journey spans an exciting 19 years within PISD, with the majority of her experience nurturing young minds at Henrick Middle School. She now serves as an Academic Support Specialist.
She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on English, Language Arts, and Reading from the esteemed Stephen F. Austin State University – a proud Jack, indeed! Over the years, my passion for education has led me through diverse roles, including teaching English and AVID and even diving into the world of PE/Athletics. Additionally, she has enjoyed coaching various sports such as basketball, track, and cross country, fostering not just academic growth but also the development of well-rounded individuals. She is excited to bring her wealth of experience, love for education, and passion for athletics to the Wildcat community. Here’s to a fantastic journey of growth, learning, and success for all of us!
